Remove Swirls and Scratches to Restore Your Vehicle’s Shine

Bringing quality paint polishing to Tulsa and the surrounding areas

How our paint correction services can benefit you

Over time, your vehicle’s paint will begin to show signs of wear. This can be from automatic car washes, improper washing methods, environmental hazards, uv rays, and general wear that result in scratches, swirls, oxidation, rust, and a faded and dull finish.

Our paint correction services, also known as paint polishing or buffing, aim to improve your paint's shine, clarity, and depth by removing these imperfections. We target between 60-90% removal of defects depending on what you want and what the vehicle can tolerate to give your car a beautiful shine.

We don’t shoot for 100% correction for several reasons. Some scratches are too deep or the clear coat too thin. When a car is polished, the clear coat around the scratch is removed down to the level of the imperfection, making the scratch effectively gone. If the scratch is into the base coat or there is barely any clear coat left, it cannot be corrected safely.

Our philosophy is preservation over perfection. We seek to achieve the best possible results while also preserving the integrity of the paint for years to come. Clear coats are getting thinner and thinner, leaving little room for much correction over the life of the car. Chances are your vehicle will need another polish down the road and if it’s been too aggressively corrected, the only remedy would be to repaint.

Our Paint Correction Service Offerings

Paint Enhancements

Looking to brighten up your paint and boost the gloss? Our paint enhancement polishing is meant to remove light swirls and oxidation to improve clarity and shine of your car. This is our quickest and most affordable polishing service that uses light polishing around the car. We aren’t targeting heavy swirl and scratch removal here but instead bringing clarity and luster back to the cars finish. This service can yield great results while being more budget-conscious. It is a good choice for daily drivers looking for minor defect removal and overall improvement in the car’s shine.

Paint Corrections

Our paint correction services are offered in one or two stages and target paint defects like swirls, scratches, oxidation, and hazy paint with up to 90% removal. The procedures and products used here are tailored to your specific vehicle requirements and thus take much more time than our paint enhancements.

1-stage paint corrections

Our one-stage correction uses a single polish and pad type to both correct and finish. With this service, we shoot for around 60-75% removal of scratches and swirls, although it can do much better depending on the type of paint. Our one-stage correction polish provides a dramatic improvement in paint clarity and finish.

2-stage paint correction

Two-stage corrections are our most thorough and time-consuming paint correction services. This consists of a compound stage that does heavier cutting to remove difficult and deeper defects. A polishing finish stage follows to clear and gloss up the paint as much as possible. It is for those who are striving to get as close to like new as possible or whose paint is heavily marred. With this service, we aim to remove up to 90% of the imperfections. There will be some scratches that are just too deep beyond what can be polished out or we risk damaging the clear coat.

Our Paint Correction Process

  • Consultation and inspection of your vehicle with you to determine the best course of action to achieve the results you desire.

  • Our thorough hand wash to remove all dirt, road film, and grime from the vehicle.

  • Chemical and physical decontamination with iron remover and clay bar. This removes any remaining embedded iron, dirt, or other debris left on the paint surface.

  • Compound polish (if necessary). This is a more aggressive correction step to remove heavier swirls and scratches.

  • Machine polishing. This is either our one-step polish or the finishing step following a compound to clear up finer scratches and bring the maximum clarity and shine to your paint.

  • Apply your paint protection of choice. This can range from short-term sealants up to multi-year ceramic coatings. If you aren’t sure, we would love to discuss the options that we offer to see what’s best.

 FAQs

  • The results of paint correction will last as long as you work to keep them. Paint will always be prone to scratches, swirls, and defects therefore it must be properly maintained to keep the paint in top shape for as long as possible. This includes using proper washing techniques, routine washes, and avoiding automatic car washes. A car not properly maintained can reacquire imperfections again quickly and you are back at the beginning. To make maintenance washes easier and provide some protection for your car, consider a ceramic coating to go with your paint correction.

  • Depending on the level of correction, it could range from a couple of hours to an entire day of polishing.

  • Paint corrections are a drop-off service at our physical location only. This is due to the length of time it takes as well as having a controlled environment with proper lighting and setup to achieve the best results.
