Ceramic Coating Installers of Tulsa

Get the ultimate shine and shield your paint from the elements with a ceramic coating

What is a Ceramic Coating?

For decades traditional paste waxes have been the go-to solution to give your paint that ultimate shine and protection. These, along with spray waxes and sealants, last from a few weeks to a few months and are a great budget option but have limited durability and need to be routinely reapplied. Ceramic coatings are the next evolution in protection but take it to a whole new level.

Ceramic coatings are a liquid polymer chain that chemically bonds to the surface of your car, be it the paint, wheels, or glass. This makes them incredibly strong and with proper maintenance, last for years. They act as a shield layer to help resist damage from environmental factors like UV rays, dirt, bugs, etc. They also greatly enhance the gloss of your car making your paint look incredibly shiny along with the hydrophobic properties that make your car easier to wash and keep clean.

The Benefits of Ceramic Coatings

Why Get One?

Ceramic coatings offer a range of long-lasting benefits from enhanced gloss and chemical and environmental resistance that keep your car looking its best.

Unparalleled Shine

Ceramic coatings provide incredible gloss and luster to your paint and are applied only once.

Exceptional Protection

Shield your vehicle from elements that would damage paint like UV rays, bugs, bird droppings, water spots, and other contaminants.

Long Lasting Durability

Unlike traditional waxes, ceramic coatings chemically bond with surfaces making them very durable and providing protection lasting for years.

Ease of Maintenance

The hydrophobic properties of coatings help self-clean by repelling water and carrying away dirt keeping your vehicle cleaner longer, making washing a breeze.

Provides Protection Against

Ceramic coatings offer an advanced level of protection for your vehicle's exterior surfaces, such as paint, glass, wheels, and plastics, by creating a durable barrier against environmental contaminants like bird droppings, tree sap, UV rays, and many other harmful elements. This protective layer not only shields these surfaces from potential damage but also enhances their appearance by providing a glossy finish.

The hydrophobic nature of ceramic coatings ensures that water beads up and rolls off effortlessly, reducing the likelihood of water spots and minimizing dirt and grime buildup. When dirt or debris does accumulate, the coating facilitates easier cleaning, allowing for quick maintenance and preserving the car’s pristine look with minimal effort.

Overall, ceramic coatings are an excellent investment for car enthusiasts looking to maintain their vehicle's aesthetic and quality over time.

Our Ceramic Coating Process

The process of applying a ceramic coating isn’t complicated, but it does require a significant amount of prep work to ensure proper bonding and the best results. We require some form of paint correction before a ceramic coating. This could be as little as quick paint enhancement or deep corrections.

  • We start with a strip wash to help remove any existing protection and begin breaking down dirt and contaminants on the vehicle

  • That is followed up with a thorough hand wash to remove the remaining dirt, bugs, road film, etc.

  • Your vehicle is then physically and chemically decontaminated with a clay and iron remover treatment to remove embedded contaminants in the paint

  • If you have water spots, we will hit the vehicle with a water spot remover to pull out the water minerals stuck in the paint. The remaining spots that have been etched into the clear coat will be polished out

  • Your car is then polished to your specifications to achieve the desired results you want

  • We paint prep the vehicle to ready it to receive the coating

  • Finally, we apply the ceramic coating. The coating is applied to a small applicator pad and wiped on the surface. It is allowed to cure to a point where it has begun bonding with the paint and is leveled on the surface with a microfiber towel for a smooth finish.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a ceramic coating right for me?

Ceramic coatings, while sounding a bit exotic, are for everyone. It doesn’t matter the vehicle type or age. We coat older vehicles up to brand new ones straight from the lot. Anyone can benefit from the advantages ceramic coatings provide.

How long does the process take?

The minimum amount of time a total job will take is about a full day. If you have a tiny new car that requires little work, around 5 hours. Large vehicles that need thorough polishing could take a couple of days.

Do you come to me?

Not for our ceramic coatings. These are drop-off services only due to the length of time required and performing them in a controlled environment.

What is the difference in coatings?

The coatings themselves, while similar, will differ in some of the benefits. The biggest difference is the length of time the coating will last. This is due to the specific chemical and molecular structure of the coatings. What causes a coating to break down are the chains or bonds in the coating failing. Longer lasting coatings are formulated to resist that breakage longer. Other differences include coatings with graphene added to boost their water spot resistance. Others are formulated to promote maximum gloss.

How do I care for my newly coated car?

Now that your car is looking its best, you want to keep it that way. Ceramic coatings are not bulletproof and physical abrasion is the fastest way to wear the coating prematurely. This is why we recommend you stay away from automatic or tunnel car washes and stick to hand washing with pH-neutral car soap and soft microfiber towels and mitts. With that, you will still want to clean up your coating a few times a year as it can clog and needs to be flushed out to bring it back to life.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

If you are not one for getting out and washing your car regularly, we completely understand and are here to step in. We do offer maintenance washes and recommend them to keep your freshly manicured car looking its peak. We will do weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly maintenance washes.
